Turn your students' drawings into a real coloring book

A free classroom project and fundraiser from the nonprofit Susie Q's Kids. Your students draw, we transform every drawing into a coloring-book page, and local sponsors cover the printing — so every book raises funds for your school and comforts a child in need.

We make this coloring page

How it works

  1. Students draw

Any drawing, any subject — paper and markers are all it takes. There's no wrong way to draw.

  2. Upload in minutes

Kids or teachers snap a photo and upload it here. First name only, no accounts needed.

  3. We make the book

Every drawing is traced into a clean coloring page, and local sponsors cover the printing.

  4. Books do double duty

Your school fundraises with the finished book, and copies go into comfort bags for children in crisis.

For teachers: a class project with a purpose

Now welcoming classrooms across metro Phoenix — Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Scottsdale, Tempe, Glendale, and Peoria — alongside our founding schools in Warren and Sterling Heights, Michigan.

For local businesses: be the name on every page

Sponsor a book and your logo is printed in every copy — a coloring book created from local kids' art, sold at school fundraisers and tucked into comfort bags across your community. Sponsorships are tax-deductible through the nonprofit Susie Q's Kids.

Why we do this

Susie Q's Books is part of Susie Q's Kids. Every comfort bag we give a child in crisis includes one of these coloring books — along with crayons, a soft bear, a warm blanket, and a journal — so a hard day starts a little easier.

Questions teachers ask us

How does the coloring book fundraiser work for my classroom?

Your students draw on regular paper with markers or crayons. You (or the kids) upload photos of the drawings here — it takes about two minutes each. We turn every drawing into a clean coloring-book page, local sponsors cover the cost, and your school gets a finished coloring book to sell or share as a fundraiser.

What does it cost my school?

Nothing. Local business sponsors fund each book in exchange for their name and logo on the sponsor page. Your only investment is drawing time in class.

What ages can participate?

The project is designed for 8th grade and younger. Any drawing works — there is no wrong way to draw.

How does a drawing become a coloring page?

We use an image tool that traces the shapes in each drawing and redraws them as bold black outlines on white — just like a page from a store-bought coloring book, but starring your students' own art.

We're not in Michigan or Phoenix — can we join?

We currently work with classrooms in Warren and Sterling Heights, Michigan and across the greater Phoenix area. If you're somewhere else, upload anyway and pick "My school isn't listed" — that's exactly how we decide where to grow next.

How do local sponsors take part?

Businesses sponsor a book on this site, add their name and logo, and pay through PayPal. Their logo is printed in every copy of that book — community goodwill with local reach.

Where do the books go?

Two places: your school uses them to raise funds, and copies go into Susie Q's Kids comfort bags, given to children facing a crisis — along with crayons, a soft bear, a warm blanket, and a journal.

Is my child's information safe?

Yes. Kids upload with a first name only (and even that is optional). There are no accounts, no logins, and no contact information collected from children.
